Fixed-depth CTDs

Eight SBE-37 CTDs are clamped to the mooring wire at discrete depths between 600 and 5000 m. These instruments measure temperature, salinity, and pressure every 2 minutes. From these measurements, estimates of steric height are calculated. Data from the upper four instruments are telemetered to shore in near-real time.
